In May the administration raised the ceiling from 7,500 to 17,500 by emergency determination citing racially motivated incitement in South Africa. World Relief and Open Doors report that fiscal 2026 will be the first year in at least a quarter century in which persecuted religious minorities were completely shut out of a program that resettled 29,478 persecuted Christians in 2024. News24 and Rapport reported on September 5 that Amerikaners, the group Sam Busa founded to take up Trump's resettlement offer, went from volunteers to State Department referral partner to US government contractor collecting about R6 million a year, roughly $375,000, to help Afrikaners apply. Ernst Roets' think tank Lex Libertas, with the New York Young Republican Club, has put 3,000 white crosses on the National Mall and is petitioning for a dedicated US envoy for Afrikaners. A South African court ruled in February 2025 that claims of a white genocide are clearly imagined and not real. April 2025, the Justice Department argued in court that pardoned rioters should get back the restitution they paid for damaging the Capitol. May 2025, Ed Martin, then the top federal prosecutor in Washington, said you're damn right I want to pay J6ers and privately predicted about $40 million in payouts, per NBC News. Trump's Never Surrender PAC paid Parscale's Dyspatchit $426,197 for email services. Dyspatchit ran Freedom 250's email and texts. A June 24 ticket form sent registrants to 45.donaldjtrump.com asking for up to $5,000. A tracking script logged every click, scroll and keystroke. Congress appropriated $150 million. Freedom 250 received most of it, housed inside the National Park Foundation, a 501(c)(3). Campaign Nucleus advertises AI scoring of persuadable voters.
